Instructional Display for Electrical Safety

Abstract

An electrical display was constructed and a variety of demonstration equipment was assembled to
assist with electrical safety instruction. The use and application of ground fault circuit
interrupters, polarized and grounded plugs and outlets, circuit protection, test lamps, a voltmeter,
and various electrical tools are shown with this instructional device. Classroom demonstrations
and individualized instruction are easily accomplished with this compact unit. When not in use,
the display and assorted equipment collapses into a self contained storage unit that was sized to fit
in a standard sized storage cabinet.
